Before the storm...
Actually, the storm began the day we left. Prepping to leave town for 3 weeks is exhausting. We made it out of town as the snow began to fall. Praise God. And God blessed us with an early Christmas miracle...all 3 kids were wonderful on the 7 hour trip to Texas. How much does a family of 5 take on a 3 week trip during the holidays? 3 car seats, 1 double stroller, 4 checked in suitcases, one carry-on suitcase, one large diaper bag, 1 briefcase, 1 DVD player, 1 laptop, and lots of snacks and drinks.
